Update Constituent ID does not manually remap a CRM export

On the donation page, Update Constituent ID retries matching based on the gift's payer email. It is not an input for a manually chosen RE NXT constituent ID. The service searches the school's imported identity data and can preserve the existing identifier when no replacement is found. Multiple matching external IDs can produce a semicolon-separated value.

Correct an ambiguous source email/identity and confirm the updated source data reached GiveCampus, then have support reconcile the gift's identity with the CRM export row. A batch correction in RE NXT is not proof the GiveCampus record changed. The retry does not reject a gift merely because it was already exported, so do not assume export completion explains an unchanged result. Avoid re-exporting an already processed gift as a default correction.
