Move the next recurring payment date

An authorized school user with gift-modification permissions can edit an eligible recurring gift; a view-only permission is insufficient. The newer subscription Details editor calls the date Next Payment, while the older interface uses Next Run Date and Save Run Date. Choose the intended future date and save. Use Run all future payments on this day only when the donor intends the ongoing schedule to move as well; changing just the next payment is a separate choice.

The newer recurring editor requires a date to be at least tomorrow and rejects a next date after the applicable end date. Canceled or ended subscriptions are not normally editable by school administrators. Controls vary by processor and interface, so ask support when the applicable option is absent. Confirm the donor’s current intended payment date before making a schedule change.
