Stripe Link prompts and verification messages

Link is Stripe’s accelerated checkout wallet, separate from a GiveCampus login or saved GiveCampus wallet. The GiveCampus Payment Element includes Link authentication/enrollment when enabled and supplies donor billing name/email. Stripe explains that existing Link users can reuse details saved at another business; signup prompts and opt-out behavior depend on provider configuration. Do not infer a donor’s consent or authenticate a particular verification email from its display name. For saved Link information, use the provider’s account removal guidance; removing Link information is not proof that historical donation records or every separate GiveCampus payment source were erased.
