Request cancellation of an unverified bank gift

This article covers gifts made through GiveCampus. Payment and recurring-gift options depend on the institution and the form.

Ask support to inspect the gift ID and current status before the donor submits another payment. The support-only cancellation action requires a gift in Pending Authorization state, using microdeposit ACH, whose bank verification is not complete. This is different from refunding a paid gift. This cancellation requires GiveCampus Support.

This condition does not confirm eligibility for every bank-transfer type or a gift whose status has changed. Do not mark a gift canceled until the authorized action and resulting state are confirmed. If one duplicate is intended, reconcile both records so the intended gift can proceed once without another accidental payment.
