Move a recurring gift to another campaign

Yes, eligible recurring gifts can be moved to another campaign at the same school. An authorized administrator opens the parent recurring gift, expands Donor Information, chooses Move Gift to a Different Campaign under Donation Details and Save Donor Information. The selector lists nondeleted projects of a similar type; it is not shown for a pledge subscription. On the legacy gift page, the equivalent Move to different campaign control excludes matches, challenges, pledges and individual installments and can be disabled by school configuration. The move changes the subscription, parent gift and ALL existing installments to the destination, not just future payments. Review historical reporting and designation implications before moving. A donor cannot simply unlink a gift from every project. Ended/canceled subscriptions need Support because ordinary modification is blocked. A closed campaign alone does not cancel a subscription.
