First-payment failure is different from renewal dunning

Do not assume the ordinary renewal retry/email sequence applies to a never-successfully-charged subscription. The ordinary renewal retry and reminder sequence does not apply in the same way to subscriptions that have never had a successful charge. For a migrated subscription, Support should check its imported payment history and current state before choosing a recovery step. Have support inspect the first-charge failure and arrange the supported recovery without duplicate charges.
