Send a payment-update link before a gift fails

An authorized administrator can use Send Donor Link to Modify on a supported recurring subscription. The action sends a management email to the original contribution's payer email; it does not require a failed installment first. The donor can then use eligible payment-edit controls. Confirm the correct subscription and recipient before sending. The page's success message indicates the notification action succeeded, not proof of inbox delivery.

Send an update-card link before expiry

In the recurring subscriptions list, use the gift action menu's Send Donor Link to Modify where offered. The list offers this for Stripe/Spreedly. The administrator needs manage-gifts permission. It sends a private modification link to the contribution payer email and does not require an expired card. The donor can open the link and use the available payment-method controls; do not simulate an expired-card notification or collect full card details.
