Receipt name differs from public donor name

The legacy tax receipt uses the payment name when available, falling back to the donor name. The public campaign donor list uses the donor name. Correcting a public donor name therefore does not mean that the receipt's name has changed. Have an authorized administrator or support inspect the exact gift and template, correct the appropriate source, and resend an eligible receipt. A resend alone does not correct unchanged data or guarantee future gifts use the corrected name. Account and future checkout data must be checked separately. This describes the legacy receipt format, not a guarantee for every custom template.
