Partial refund of a giving-form payment

This article covers gifts made through GiveCampus. Payment and recurring-gift options depend on the institution and the form.

The school donation refund dialog does not expose a partial-amount field. A giving-form payment used for meals or another item remains a donation record; do not apply event-registration refund instructions to it. Request authorized support with the gift/payment ID and desired partial amount so processor eligibility and the supported operation can be checked. Editing the gift amount is not a refund, and the full-refund action should not be used when only part should be returned.
