Duplicate recurring failure messages

GiveCampus suppresses duplicate initial administrator failure notifications by donor gift, recipient and last charge time, and normally avoids repeating the initial admin notice when the preceding installment is already failed. Donor failed-attempt messages have their own per-attempt key. A final failed/paused notification is a separate event, so staff duplicates do not confirm the number of donor messages or successful charges. Review actual notification IDs, recipient addresses, timestamps and processor attempts with Support to diagnose duplicates. Recurring preferences and project notification recipients control broad categories, not a one-message-only frequency limit; do not disable them without reviewing which notices would be lost.
