Online payment options and integration fields

This article covers gifts made through GiveCampus. Payment and recurring-gift options depend on the institution and the form.

GiveCampus has flows for credit/debit cards, bank transfer, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App Pay, DAFpay, cryptocurrency, and Stripe Link where enabled and eligible. Availability depends on the school, processor, form, and donor’s device or browser; this is not a promise that every option appears on every form. Offline gifts are recorded separately and are not an additional online checkout method. For integration mapping, distinguish the payment processor from the donor-facing payment type. In the Gifts API, payment_method is the contribution’s stored processor value (for example Stripe, PayPal, TheGivingBlock, or DAFpay), while card_type uses the displayed payment subtype when available and otherwise falls back to the stored card type. Do not use the donor-facing list as an exact Salesforce picklist or claim it is the complete set of values returned by every API version. Validate the receiving field against the API field actually being mapped.
