Required designation control no longer visible

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Open Online Giving → Forms → select the form → Giving Experience → Form Builder. Add or select the Designation field and mark it required, then save. Configure offered choices separately under Giving Experience → Form Settings & Display → Designation Configuration.

Allowing designations and requiring a selection are separate. In form-builder workflows, edit the designation field’s Required setting on the actual giving-form template used by that donation type. Legacy setup also exposes Require donors to choose a designation. Current validation uses the relevant form’s designation field where present and falls back to the legacy project setting otherwise; visible designations must exist. Test each relevant gift type. If an expected control is absent, ask Support to review the specific page and form configuration.

In Form Builder, choose Designation under Standard Field, set Required to Yes, and click Add Field when adding it. For an existing field, edit it, set Required to Yes, and click Update Field.
