Optional extra gift to a second fund

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Where multiple designations are enabled, the donor can select both funds and enter the allocation for each selected fund. For an optional five-dollar contribution to a support fund, explain that choice and have the donor intentionally select and allocate five dollars to it while reviewing the total.

This split-designation workflow is not a dedicated “add five dollars” checkbox, and the controls do not mean such an add-on automatically increasing the gift total. A plain custom checkbox or explanatory sentence does not allocate money to a fund. Preview the real total and allocation behavior, and ask support about a more specialized checkout design instead of promising it can be configured with a text field alone.
