Show a designation without requiring search

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

In the newer designation editor, Feature Above Dropdown lifts a choice above the dropdown. This differs from Preselect, which automatically selects it for visitors. These switches are disabled inside a synced group; review the group's source/configuration instead. A group containing one choice is not the same as a single standalone designation.

In the donor selector, search is omitted when the offered designation list matches the priority list. A single standalone designation with no priorities is automatically selected. If a supposedly single-choice form still requires searching, check for an enclosing group or other offered nodes before assuming that the donor must type the complete name.

An autofill link does not inherently remove designation search. The autofill URL builder separately offers hide the pre-filled field for designation. Hiding the designation selector hides its choice interface, not just its search box; verify the intended prefilled designation and final donor experience before sharing.
