Populate receipt designations from actual gift selections

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The receipt's designation token uses the gift's displayed designation data. A form name or body text saying Annual Fund does not itself create a saved designation. Check the actual gift and the form's designation assignment/defaults, rather than only adding the token to the email.

The designation selector supports default selections, including a hidden-selection presentation when configured. For a single-purpose form, review the intended designation/default in that form's supported settings and verify that a new submission actually saves it. Do not assume that removing the designation field or changing the form title assigns a fund. The precise hidden/default controls depend on the form interface; support should confirm them before changing a published form.

For a previously submitted gift with no designation, any authorized gift correction and eligible receipt resend are separate from editing the template. A template preview's Example Designation value is sample data and does not prove a real gift has that selection.
