New-tab links depend on the text surface on a giving form

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The newer Form Settings & Display uses plain textareas for the facing-page text and does not expose a link-target control there. Some donor-flow content is rendered through formatted/sanitized text, so pasting target="_blank" is not a universal solution. In a separate legacy Redactor rich-text field, its link dialog provides Open link in new tab. Do not assume that control exists in the facing-page textarea or apply campaign-content instructions to the payment form. If a link in a specific display-text surface still opens in the same tab after editing, Support needs the exact field and rendered link to determine a supported change.
