Inactive custom template does not necessarily stop an email on a giving form

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The receipt lookup falls back from an active form template to a school template, and the receipt view can render default content when no applicable custom template exists. Therefore deactivating a custom template is not a reliable way to stop that notification. Identify the actual email type and supported notification preference with support. Do not deactivate templates expecting every message except Gift Receipt and Incomplete Gift Nudge to disappear; those are distinct triggers and settings.
