Shared giving-form background and inheritance

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

For the giving-form layout, a disabled stage background stays blank. Otherwise the form's stage-specific image takes priority; a tiered campaign can have a resolved background fallback; then the school's uploaded background (hero_image) is used. A logo or a different branding image is not this fallback.

The school settings Upload background image / Add or change background image control recommends landscape orientation and at least 1200 × 500 pixels, accepting PNG, JPG and JPEG. It explicitly identifies this as the background for giving forms. This is the guidance for the shared school background, not a universal dimension rule for every image widget. If an uncustomized form still shows an old image, verify the correct school background, form-stage overrides and actual public layout before diagnosing caching.
