Donor-selected future first installment

This article covers gifts made through GiveCampus. Payment and recurring-gift options depend on the institution and the form.

The v3 checkout shows a recurring Start Date field only for an eligible Smart Appeal batch associated with that project and configured for future recurring dates. It is not a general switch established for every ordinary giving form. The minimum date is today, and the batch can impose a maximum based on a configured date or the prior gift's end date plus a number of months. If that maximum is already past, the option is disabled.

This means a supported future-start path exists, but support must verify the actual Smart Appeal and processor/subscription conditions before promising a donor can select next month on any form. Editing an existing subscription schedule is a separate action.
