Administrator notifications cannot be selected as edits-only

The notification preferences have Donation and Recurring choices, not a non-payment-edits-only preference. Both recurring installment messages and administrator subscription-update messages use the school recurring-email subscriber list plus the project notification recipients. Turning off recurring messages can therefore remove both kinds; leaving project recipients in place can still generate messages. Use mailbox rules based on the specific update-versus-installment message as an operational sorting aid, and validate with actual messages; that does not add a product-side edits-only subscription or guarantee every designation edit triggers an email. For exact historical changes, inspect the individual subscription history where available.
