Required affiliation versus a prechecked affiliation

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Making affiliation required does not by itself check Alumni. The form prechecks values associated with a signed-in nonguest user or matching tier context; autofill/context can also affect a personalized visit. Test the ordinary signed-out URL in a fresh session and compare the tier/personalized link. If Alumni is still checked for an unpersonalized visitor, Support needs that exact form/link and configuration to identify and remove its source without disabling the required field.
