Missing required marker versus a required ZIP at checkout on a giving form

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Do not equate a locked native field with a required field. The newer ZIP field uses its configured required flag; country logic also changes postal-code handling based on selected-country requirements. If the builder's missing asterisk conflicts with checkout, inspect the actual field configuration, selected country, checkout path and exact error before promising optionality or blaming a processor. Campaign ZIP removal is separately protected; the standalone Giving Form removal exception does not itself answer requiredness.
