Prefill a standard In Memory of field on a giving form

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

For the form-builder giving form, a standard In Memory of field in the pre-payment form can be prefilled using its field key, in_memory_of. For example, append ?in_memory_of=Pat%20Example to a plain giving-form URL, or &in_memory_of=Pat%20Example if the URL already has query parameters. The standard In Honor of text field similarly uses in_honor_of.

This fills the existing text field; it does not create a missing field or select a separate custom tribute-type dropdown. If the form uses a custom combined tribute question, inspect its actual field key and exact option value instead of assuming these standard keys apply. The generic URL mechanism uses pre-payment field keys, so do not assume that it prefills an arbitrary post-payment question. Test the actual donor form, including any existing personalized/token link, before distributing it; URL parameters can be visible and editable by recipients.
