New designations and write-in values

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

A school designation must be offered and visible on the specific form to appear in its donor selection. A write-in/Other response is a custom value, not a switch that publishes a new school designation or makes it searchable. Configure the offered designation tree separately. Required email, name, and address validation is also separate from designation selection; inspect the actual missing field and stage rather than assuming a designation problem causes every validation message.
