Designation group versus synced group

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

A regular group on a form is a local group/copy that you manage for that form. A synced group references a shared source group, so its membership comes from that source rather than an independently copied list. Manage shared contents at the source; review affected forms before changing it. Per-form settings such as visibility, position, priority and default can have overrides, so synced does not mean every display setting is identical everywhere.
