Designation choices are not ordinary dependent-field parents

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The ordinary dependent-field editor supports select/checkbox parent questions. It does not mean a dependency on the native designation selector. Use a supported designation hierarchy or a separate explicit custom question and review its reporting semantics; do not assume that merely selecting a fund reveals a custom field.
