Connect email, send personal outreach, and manage communications

For GiveCampus Gift Officer users. Your role and school configuration determine the available portfolio, school-wide and administrative controls.

How to use

Open My Settings and use the available email-account authorization flow to connect the permitted mailbox. The connection flow uses Nylas authorization and supports account removal and email aliases. Follow the school’s allowed-domain configuration.

Use Communications → Email and the batch/template controls to prepare messages. Batch email has per-person/individual-email editing screens; review the content for each intended recipient and any attachments before sending. Text Conversations, Text Templates, and Video are separate communication areas when enabled.

Troubleshooting

A connected mailbox, an authorized sender/alias, and a successfully delivered email are different conditions. For connection failures, collect the account domain, school, and displayed error without requesting access tokens. For a missing conversation, verify the account, filters, and permissions.

Account-specific settings

You should not expect that every historical mailbox message is imported or that deleting an in-product email removes it from the provider. Exact synchronization scope and deletion semantics need the relevant integration flow.
