In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.
A fixed-dollar promo discounts the eligible registration total once, capped at that total. It does not multiply the dollar value by the number of tickets. For example, two eligible $50 tickets with a $10 dollar promo produce a $10 discount, not $20. A 10% promo on that $100 eligible total also gives $10.
Use a percentage promo if that matches the intended discount across the eligible total. Ticket/package charges are eligible; including add-ons and activities depends on the code's setting. Do not assume a promo is restricted to one named ticket type. Once complete or reserved registrations have used a code, its name, discount type and amount are locked; configure a suitable new code when needed and review it before distribution. Separate registrations should not be prescribed merely to work around an unintended discount configuration.
