What the background-image contrast warning checks for an event

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

In the Events background-image display settings, the warning is calculated from the configured overlay color, overlay opacity and text color. The helper blends the overlay against white and tests a ratio of at least 4.5; it does not sample the uploaded photograph's pixels. Consequently, adding an overlay inside the image file may not change this warning. Adjust the editor's own overlay/text settings and preview the actual image/text combination. Passing this limited check is not proof that all content on the page is accessible. Confirm this is the same editor before applying the explanation to another product surface.
