What potential duplicate highlighting compares for an event

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

In the offline-event upload review, a row is highlighted when its Registrant Email* exactly matches an email on an existing event registration for that event. The lookup is not restricted to completed registrations and does not compare guest names or check only the current file for repeated people. Thus a record absent from a completed-attendee view can still cause a warning. Review the actual matched registrations, including incomplete records, before approving; highlighting alone is not proof of a duplicate paid registration or permission to delete historical records.
