Donation total when a donor covers fees

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

In the contribution-creation path, the donor-covered fee is added to the entered base gift to produce the stored total value. A separate donor-covered-fee value is retained, and the settings can calculate the amount excluding it. For example, a base gift of 100 with an added coverage amount of 3 produces a total of 103 and an amount excluding coverage of 100.

Coverage does not change the school's contracted processing rate or establish how its bill is issued. Reconcile the actual payment, deposit and agreement for gross, net and billed fees; the extra donor amount is not proof that no processor charge will be assessed.
