Designation catalog count versus form selection limits

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The school designation settings and designation/group CSV importer do not set a fixed number-of-designations cap. Row/header/field validation still applies, including 255-character name and description limits. A form’s maximum designation selections controls how many choices a donor can select in one gift, not the size of the school catalog. Do not interpret the absence of a count cap as unlimited file size or guaranteed processing capacity; review unusually large uploads with support.
