Add designation instructions

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Open Online Giving → Forms → select the form → Giving Experience → Form Builder and select the Designation field. Edit its Help Text to explain that donors can search fund names. Legacy forms may expose default designation label/prompt in designation settings instead. Preview the actual form; searching selects attached funds and does not create a new designation.
