Inherit or override donor-covered-fee settings

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

When Inherit School-Wide Donor Covered Fee settings is checked, the form uses the school's donor-covered-fee configuration. Saving with inheritance selected removes the form's separate override; subsequent school setting changes can therefore apply to that form.

To set an eligible form independently, clear inheritance, choose whether to enable donor-covered fees for this form, and choose Opt In or Opt Out before saving. Opt In asks donors to check the coverage box themselves. Opt Out starts with that box checked and allows donors to clear it. Review the donor form after saving. These choices concern donor coverage, not a change to the school's contracted processing rate.

The override flow depends on the school's feature configuration and permission and excludes membership forms. A missing control is not proof that fees are disabled. Ask an authorized settings administrator to inspect the effective school/form configuration.
