Collect an Other designation without inventing a fund number

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Create a designation named Other and select Make this a write-in designation, then offer it on the intended form. The backend identifier is optional in the designation editor, so an institution does not need to invent a fund number merely to collect donor intent. The write-in text can capture Bench on Campus. A separate custom notes field is another collection method, but neither creates a CRM fund or resolves downstream accounting mapping; agree how finance will route these gifts and test the integration.
