Custom character limits for first and last names on a giving form

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The First Name/Last Name fields and Edit Field settings do not expose a customer-configurable character maximum such as 50 or 75. Help-text limits are limits on administrator-authored instructions, not donor answers. Use clear name-field instructions and coordinate CRM validation/transformation or request a supported product enhancement; do not assume that the form editor can enforce the CRM limit.
