Contact-update-only forms versus the donation form builder

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The Giving Forms builder edits pre-payment and post-payment stages of a campaign/form’s donation flow. It is not a general standalone contact-update form builder that submits address changes without a donation. A custom question does not create a no-payment submission path or automatically update the CRM. For a contact-update-only form, use the institution’s approved contact-update tool and offer a separate giving link, or confirm a separately available product workflow with Support. Do not set a zero-dollar gift merely to simulate a contact update.
