Moving a gift does not choose an incentive or send a receipt

These steps are for administrators with permission to manage gifts.

The gift move changes the project association; it does not automatically assign the destination's incentive or dispatch a new receipt. Verify the intended reward and institution-approved fair-market-value treatment on the gift, then use the separate Resend Receipt action after reviewing the destination template/details. Resent receipts use the gift’s current form or campaign notification settings. Moving alone does not confirm the correct benefits/deduction text. Individual recurring installments follow their parent move workflow rather than standalone reassignment.
