Draft payment previews do not create exportable gifts

In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

A giving-form draft preview creates a temporary Test Donor object for display, not a saved donation. Payment preview advances to a preview confirmation page. Ordinary donation creation against a draft is rejected. Therefore a dummy-card preview does not appear in Manage Gifts and cannot be exported as a gift through an API or CRM integration. Request a provisioned test environment or an agreed integration test-data process when an end-to-end integration test is required. Draft status does not enable payment sandbox mode.
