In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.
From Online Giving → Forms, select the form name to edit it; View opens its public form. New Form asks for Giving, Pledge or Membership form type, a Form Name and a Form Category before Create Form. Creating, cloning and archiving are separate actions from opening an editor.
| Task | Screen or control |
|---|---|
| Form name, header logo, sharing text/image, share link and embed | Basic Set Up |
| Ask amounts, recurring defaults/frequencies, designations and affiliations | Giving Experience → Form Settings & Display → Form Settings |
| Stage-specific colors, backgrounds and text | Display: Pre-Payment, Payment and Post-Payment sections and their individual Preview links |
| Donor questions, labels, help, required fields and report columns | Form Builder, which opens a separate editor tab |
| Standard or conditional gift confirmation messages | Gift Confirmation Emails |
| Actual gifts and messages sent for a gift | Manage Donations → Online Gifts → Donation ID → Gift Notifications |
| Tracking links, autofill links and appeal codes | Tracking & Analytics → Links & Appeal Codes |
On Display, Post Payment Submission Page has its own heading/text and company matching URL. Display Update Fields exposes eligible personalized pre-form fields on the post-form so donors can provide updates. The interface identifies the resulting reporting columns as updated_COLUMN_NAME; do not confuse the original personalized value with the donor's updated value.
Form Builder separates pre-payment and post-payment fields. Its friction/time evaluation is an estimate, not measured completion time for an individual donor. Some core fields are locked. The Name field’s display label can be edited, while its payer-name report column is fixed. A label change does not necessarily rename a report column.
Back to Draft changes availability; it is not the normal entry point for opening settings.
