Testing a paid registration without charging

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Use administrative preview and Email Settings previews for form/content checks. A properly scoped 100% promo can reduce a real registration's eligible cost to zero; include add-ons/activities if needed and do not add a gift for a no-charge test. A completed free/discounted registration is still real: it can send confirmations, consume capacity, appear in reports and lock ticket pricing. It does not exercise paid card processing or guarantee the paid receipt looks identical. Plan a controlled registration or supported test environment for end-to-end payment checks.
