For GiveCampus Video users with access to the relevant school and video page.
Open Video → Landing Pages and select a page name to edit it. The public page link is separate. Use the page status and preview to distinguish an editable draft from a launched page.
The Video source menu offers Video upload, Video embed and Livestream. The upload control lists .mp4, .mov, .avi, .mpeg and .mpg; larger files take longer to upload and process. The recommendation to keep a video around 60 seconds is content advice, not a required duration limit.
Under Branding, Name generates the page URL; Description is internal. Write the visitor-facing message under Content. Use Call to Action for the intended destination and Sharing for default social text, image and visible sharing buttons. Countdown Timer and Add to Calendar are separate options.
| Image | Recommended size shown in the editor |
|---|---|
| Page logo (school logo used if absent) | 200 × 50 |
| Full-page background | 1920 × 1200 |
| Video placeholder | 750 × 420 |
| Social sharing image | 1200 × 600 |
These are distinct assets and recommendations, not video-file resolution requirements. Video Library provides hosted videos and Copy video embed code for use in a landing page. A library video does not itself establish that its page is launched.
Can I insert an image inside the Content section?
No. On a Video → Landing Pages page, the Content editor supports text formatting and links, but it does not offer an inline image-upload control. A campaign page's rich-text image instructions do not apply to this GC Video editor.
Use the separate page logo, background, video placeholder or social-sharing image control when one of those placements matches your goal. A social-sharing image is not an image inserted into the page's Content section. If you need a different inline layout, contact Support to discuss the request; do not paste image markup as a substitute for an unsupported image control.
This limitation refers to GC Video landing pages. Video pages created inside Gift Officer use a different editor and should be reviewed in their own product context.
