Sponsorship without event attendance

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

For a sponsor who does not receive admission, use a separate giving form or campaign rather than representing the sponsor as an attendee. In the event’s Gift Solicitation Settings, select that form or campaign and enable Additional Gifts. Customize the Donation Text Header and Button Text to explain the sponsorship, then save. The event landing-page button opens the linked giving form without beginning event registration. Configure the linked form to collect the sponsorship information and amount. This workflow creates a gift, not an admission ticket or a ticket package; a package containing guest tickets is not appropriate for zero attendees. Confirm with your institution that the payment should be processed as a gift before using this option.
