Private or invitation-only event access

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

An active Events landing page is publicly accessible by its URL; the event workflow does not expose an authenticated invitation-only or password gate for a selected recipient list. Draft/archived access is restricted to authorized administrators and is not a private attendee-registration mode. Targeted invitations, keeping a link unlisted and restricting ticket/activity choices by affiliations serve different purposes and do not prove that only invited identities can open the registration page. Do not use them as a secure private-event access control.
