In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.
Preview registrations use a separate preview state and are not completed registrations. Normal confirmation and staff registration notifications require completed registrations; do not use a draft preview as proof that real notification delivery has been tested. For live registrations, configure the registration email and the staff notification recipients separately. Use the event Guests export for a spreadsheet-compatible CSV. The export includes the configured registrant, guest, and activity custom fields; large exports can be emailed rather than downloaded immediately. The registration and attendee views represent different record levels, so choose the level that matches your reporting need. For a free picnic, create a free admission ticket. If transport is only an informational choice, add a required dropdown such as Parking or Bus in the appropriate registrant or attendee form. A question records the choice without managing separate capacity; use ticketed activities or other supported capacity controls if bus places or parking spaces must be limited. Preview the complete choice flow before publishing. To remove social buttons, open Sharing → Social Media Settings, clear Display Social Sharing Buttons, and save. This hides those buttons; it does not make the public event URL private. With appropriate Outreach access, create an email outreach, choose the intended invitee audience, insert the event’s public registration link, test, and send or schedule. The invitation takes people to the event’s registration flow; it is not an RSVP captured inside the email. Without Outreach access, share the public event link through the school’s own email system. Do not use a draft preview URL for public invitations.
