Ticket charitable component versus optional gift

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

A ticket priced at $100 with configured $50 FMV has a $50 charitable component in the event registration calculation (before any discount/refund adjustments). The full ticket charge remains event registration processing; FMV and charitable portions do not become two separate $50 online gifts. An optional integrated donation is recorded separately against the event’s selected campaign or giving form and follows the donation payment process. Reconcile event registration and optional gift records separately. This describes platform accounting, not a guarantee of tax treatment or a statement of the school's contracted processing rates.
