Publish Event button is missing or disabled

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

The overview shows the Publish section only when the event is a draft and meets readiness checks: virtual or a location name, an event image and contact fields. Once ready, the button also checks permission to publish; an ineligible user sees a disabled control. Inspect readiness and permission separately rather than assuming saving an event publishes it. A generic edit screen may show Preview instead of the overview's publishing controls.
