Private exception ticket for sold-out event

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

If the person is on the event waitlist, send a private Waitlist invitation for that registration instead of publicly reopening inventory. The expiring invite token can bypass the capacity/waitlist gate, but registration dates and active-event checks still apply. A promo code is a discount, not a hidden-ticket access code. Confirm the specific event’s waitlist and invitation setup before relying on it; do not expose the private link publicly.
