Overall capacity versus per-ticket allotments and promo preview

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

Set the overall event Guest Limit to 700 to cap total attendance across ticket types. Ticket-type limits are separate allotments; choose Unlimited for a type without its own quota, or enter its actual quota rather than treating every type limit as the event total. The availability calculation caps combined ticket inventory at the overall Guest Limit. Preview registration omits the ordinary unfinished checkout/payment branch, so it is not an end-to-end promo/payment test. Verify the code configuration and eligibility, then use an approved test workflow/environment for actual checkout; do not publish an unfinished event solely to expose payment controls. If a displayed total appears to exceed the overall cap, check the saved configuration with Support.
