Optional attendee fields and season-ticket quantities

In GiveCampus Events, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.

In the Guest Information editor, the standard attendee First Name, Last Name, and Email fields have controls to make them optional. Optional means the registrant need not fill them in; it does not remove the attendee section. The registration flow still includes “Will you be attending this event?” to distinguish the buyer from attendees, and no setting to hide that question is available. Do not assume a registrant-only checkout merely by making attendee fields optional. For a season pass representing one admission, a ticket type named Season Ticket at the season price is different from a GiveCampus ticket package that bundles multiple attendees. Allow multiple purchases by setting Max guests per registration high enough and reviewing ticket inventory/limits. For a true multi-attendee ticket package, the quantity controls add whole packages, and available guest slots must accommodate every ticket in each package. A descriptive “number of packages” custom question does not itself purchase additional tickets.
